Muldersdrift
General Information
Muldersdrift is situated in the Gauteng Province in South Africa. Muldersdrift is a popular escape from fast-paced Johannesburg and Pretoria. Situated only half an hour away from the noise and stress of city life, Muldersdrift is a country oasis forming part of the Crocodile Ramble, a scenic tourist route running alongside the Crocodile River.
Muldersdrift has also acquired a reputation for being an arts and culture hub. Mudersdrift can boast with a variety of galleries, markets and art studios to explore.
Close by is Lesedi Cultural Village, which is not to be missed if you’re interested in immersing yourself in a magnificent and rich cultural experience. Guests are welcome to spend time in the village, take part in tours and presentations and even stay on to enjoy a feast with the locals.

Activities and Attractions
If you are an outdoor enthusiasts, take a short trip to the Aloe Ridge Game Reserve, where you might be lucky enough to encounter a rare white rhino. The Muldersdrift Animal and Reptile Park Zoo hosts a slightly more eclectic collection of animals, such as pumas, jackals and wolves. The facility conducts regular tours that introduce visitors to these and many more interesting creatures. There is also a tea garden in which to unwind afterwards, making for an ideal family outing.
